Job description / Role
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR OPERATIONS EXCELLENCE LEAD
• Coordinates all technical issues with concerned department such as Engineering, Operations and M & Whse. Dept., Safety, Environment, Logistics etc… and provide needed ideas to resolve such issues in order to improve the operability of equipment and plant operations
• Coordinates with concerned departments for subjects related to Turnaround Maintenance, and Emergency plant shutdown.
• Participate and contribute in meetings related to review and improvement of Operations & Maintenance systems and study the performance post change on a need basis.
• Keep track of technological developments instruments and services in order to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of operations procedures and services.
• Promote safety and environmental awareness among team members to support the compliance with safety guidelines and regulations and environmental norms and conditions.
• Manage the Operations Excellence Specialists from PDH and PP and ME Coordinator in their daily activities and assignments.
• Excellent background in operation ( hydrocarbon & polymers ), maintenance and reliability field.
• Explore best practices in the Industry with regards to Operations; Maintenance & Reliability, Safety, Environment and Training subsequently modify the existing systems to implement the suggested improvements.
• Bring together with other departments in developing tools for improving training program for both old and new employees.
• Generates innovative ideas to improve the existing system in aspects of Production, Safety, Environment, Reliability, Working Systems and procedures etc…
• Coordinates with RCA specialist and the Reliability Section Head in achieving the ME Department goals as directed by the MED Manager.
Requirements
• With 5 to 10 years and high job profession skills.
• Education level must be required.
