Employment: Full Time

The Operations and Facility Management oversees Facility Management and managing service contracts for Master Community areas.

The Operations and Facility Manager directs a team of FM managers, FM engineers and FM coordinators, overseeing and managing maintenance schedules and service contracts both internally and with external service providers.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
- Draws up a five-year maintenance plan for all infrastructures and facilities
- Leads a team of engineers that is capable of accomplishing work tasks within the allocated time frame.
- Coaches and develops the skills and talents of the department employees. Supervises and participates in the hiring, training, evaluating, and employee relations of departmental staff.
- Selects and manages contractors, including landscaping, HVAC, ENVAC, pest control, and water treatment plants and water features.
- Reviews new projects and analyzes and recommends best operational methods.
- Oversees auditing of all facilities.
- Develops or participates in writing specifications for equipment, systems, or services.
- Reviews and evaluates projects in progress, contract compliance, and quality control.
- Performs risk analysis and management.
- Performs cost analysis, auditing and can identify ways of reducing operational costs.
- Increases effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance work.
- Lead teams and oversee all renovations, modifications, repairs, and project related maintenance/upgrades.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or Physical Sciences from an accredited university.
- Additional qualifications in facility management are a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive senior management experience FM engineering, preferably in real estate development.
- Should have worked previously on other large mixed-use developments.
