The RoleThe RoleOperations/Maintenance Manager Basic salary to US$200,000 + benefits + bonus A leading Chemical and Industrial corporation has a opportunity for a highly experienced Operations Manager to join the team The main emphasis of the role will be; Reporting to the General Manager and have full responsibilities for the safe operation of the plant and production facilities. Responsible for Planning, monitoring the activities, plant maintenance, projects initiation and follow up, inspection, HSE, and ISO compliance. Plant efficiency, cost controls, relations with suppliers, equipment vendors and contractors. Preparing operational budget and production forecasts. As the Department Head, lead the manufacturing team, managing staff and motivating employees. Coordinating with Government ministries, such as Public Authority for Industries, Ministry of Electricity and Water, Fire Brigade, Ministry of Environment etc. Ideal candidates will need to be fluent Arabic Speakers - prefernece will be given to Kuwaiti Nationals. |
RequirementsRequirements7 - 10 years experience in the capacity of Senior Manager of Industrial operations. Good knowledge in HSE management system, maintenance activities, inspection activities, project management. Knowledge of ISO 14000 and ISO 18000. Excellent communication (fluent in English and Arabic) |
