The RoleThe Role3PL/4PL Warehousing Salary Package up to $84K annual + benefits Based in Jordan Our client is a leading provider of logistics, warehousing and transportation solutions to some of the worlds global brands. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager for their office in Jordan. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all aspects of warehousing operations are conducted efficiently and effectively thus achieving high quality standards and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for candidates already in the region or for those who are keen to go back to Jordan. Responsibilities: Manage the planning, controlling and reporting of all shift operational areas Provide leadership in setting key management standards and values for the operational team Provide and achieve clear key performance indicators (KPIs) for the operational team and provide forecasts and reports for senior management Ensure that all members of the team are managed to achieve their full potential. This includes responsibility for identifying training needs via regular performance appraisal Ensure all staff are trained accordingly in all activities and equipment Ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation and approved codes of practice Macro level management of warehouses Coordinates with Warehouse Managers to keep updated on best practices and implement those viable. |
RequirementsRequirements Minimum 10 years experience in a warehousing operations management role, Third Party Logistics experience a distinct advantage Full knowledge of warehouse operations including unloading, loading, picking, packing and dispatch Excellent organizational, administrative and planning skills PC literate in particular Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience of automated WMS systems Excellent spoken and written English |
