Alshaya's Luxury Dining portfolio comprises Gaucho, Café Coco and Veranda. Gaucho offers the finest Argentine steaks, Veranda serves an all day menu inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine and Café Coco combines a stylish café and high end patisserie with modern European food. Whilst the restaurant style and menus of the three are very different, one thing remains constant: our passion to provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every customer.

As Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of managers and/or general managers and head chefs and/or executive chefs. You will also seek opportunities and initiatives that result in delivering the business plan as well as an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

* Managing the day-to-day operations for variety of brands and food service outlets
* Driving and delivering all financial KPIs, including sales and profits budgets
* Managing people performance and development in succession planning
* Delivering an outstanding food and service experience in all food outlets in relation to their respective individual brand identities
* Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant food hygiene and health & safety legislation and requirements in all outlets
* Assisting Business Managers in planning and implementing new ideas and menu development, working closely with stakeholders
* Championing a training and supporting culture within the teams to ensure high standards of work ethics and 'leading by example'
* Providing constant leadership via openness, trust, respect and positive feedback.

Requirements

You will be/have:

* A minimum 15 years' experience, with at least 5 in senior management
* Experience in multi-site restaurant operations
* International experience in fine dining or high volume restaurant operations
* Experience in successfully managing multi-cultural teams in challenging environments
* Very organised and systematic, thriving when setting up systems and procedures
* A minimum of Food Safety Level 3 or intermediate certification
* Outstanding people and leadership skills to develop and entertain successful relationships
* Project management and new opening experience (essential)
