Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with one of the worlds most luxurious 5 Star Hotels to recruit an Operations Manager for their flagship Chinese Outlet. They are a brand that epitomises discreet luxury and are renowned for the serenity of their surroundings and service.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage you will be responsible for the overall operational running of the outlet, working with the speciality chefs on menu planning, ensuring profitability and hitting and exceeding weekly/monthly targets. You will also develop, train and motivate an exceptionally professional and efficient team that can deliver service to an impeccably high standard. In addition you will be responsible for all Health and Safety standards and issues for the outlet and be the first point of call to resolve any issues or customer complaints.
Requirements
Candidates should have experience with operationally managing a specialist Chinese Restaurant (either within a 5 Star hotel or within a renowned independent outlet). Given the authenticity needed for this position our client has stated a preference for a native Chinese or Mandarin speaker. You should have excellent Food and Beverage knowledge as well as an understanding of Cantonese Chinese Cuisine.
