Transpo Group has a team of accomplished industry experts in the transportation civil engineering field who collects traffic data that is used by cities, emirates, regions, consultants and private developers that can be used to help solve transportation and traffic challenges. We are expanding into the wider MENA Region and are seeking an Operations Manager for this territory.

We are looking for an Operations Manager who wants to grow his/her own business and has an extra effort attitude and demonstrates a high level of customer service. You will service existing clients and develop new clients for repeat business. The ideal candidates will have a passion to interact with professionals at all levels and a desire to start up their own territory and manage their own operations. This work involves working a flexible schedule, driving, and setting up and taking down data collection equipment. It's an opportunity to work outdoors as well as work inside with decision makers, making marketing presentations, project delivery results and helping the client solve their data collection challenges. Familiarity with working within a live traffic environment is essential.

Typical day in the life of the Operations Manager:
• Lifting up to 40 lbs of equipment in and out of a van and staging the data collection equipment out in the field on roadways and intersections.
• Flexible and forever changing early morning and late night hours outside setting up equipment, taking equipment down and retrieving traffic data.
• Business development on client's site and problem solve their traffic data challenges.
• As the Operations Manager begins developing their base business, the first 9 months will require extra effort and time commitments to develop their organization. Their target goal is to have additional technicians to help set up and take down equipment as they grow their business.

Requirements

• 4 year degree preferred
• Entrepreneurial attitude and desire to build a business
• Past leadership roles in either business, sports, military or civic organizations
• Mechanical ability
• Interest in new technologies and how things work
• A passion for serving your clients
• A desire to build a business with full support and training from corporate
• Strong relationship building skills
• Can take the initiative and follow through on commitments
• Strong oral communication skills, planning and organizational skills, and dedication to quality.
