Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a long standing and well-established company in the UAE. Our client is developing the events agency side of their business and are looking to hire an Operations Manager to assist with this growth.
Working closely with the Events Manager, you will be involved in pitches and proposals, planning, logistics, execution and supplier relationships. You will also develop and mentor a team of Events Coordinators. You will be expected to prioritise work load, identify problems and provide solutions as well as to be on site at events. There will also be an element of budget control and identifying where cost-cutting can be made by negotiating with suppliers.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have regional experience within an events agency. You should have an understanding of and existing relationships with suppliers in the UAE. You should also have previously fulfilled a 360 degree events role, managing the project from A to Z. It is essential to have proven ability and success in proposal writing within the events space.
This is a newly created position and is an excellent opportunity for an Event Manager to take a step up and be a part of the success of a rapidly expanding business unit within a well-recognised brand.
