Operations Manager – Facilities Management

Job description / Role

Inspire selection are working in partnership with an FM service provider based in Oman. Due to company expansion and business wins, they have an opening for a experienced FM Operations Manager.

Reporting to the Company owner, you will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and work closely with clients, MEP subcontractors and colleagues, exercising excellent team working skills and building positive relationships.

You will be responsible for service delivery, staff management and the client management, and health and safety procedures within your area of responsibility. You will also be responsible for business performance, meeting targets including achievement of budget and seeking new business opportunities in Oman.

Operational management
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
• Develop and monitor the service delivery plans in conjunction with contract teams, and client units, mainly in Hard Services/MEP
• Establish, monitor and supplement resource levels to comply with contract requirements.
• Facilitate the development of robust ‘risk management’ processes and procedures
• Produce performance reports against contractual and strategic performance indicators.
• Monitor quality audits of work completed
• Implement policies on health & safety (H&S), quality assurance (QA) and environment in conjunction with corporate support teams.
• Support the continuous improvement programme and identify issues to drive forward contract development
• Identify and develop organic growth opportunities and working closely with the BD team.

Requirements

Must have experience in MEP/Hard Services
Must have an engineering background, and be able to understand FM Tenders and pricing
Must have experience in the Middle East, and be able to manage a multi-cultural work force
Must have experience of working with a recognised service provider as an Operations Manager for at least 5 years
Package: 4200 – 4500 OMR + Car + medical + flights + family status
