The RoleThe RoleThe Company: Multi fashion branded local franchise partner of international fashion brands is going through the next stage of their growth through 2009 / 2010 and now seeking to build their operations management team with 2 experienced senior retailers. Job Description: • Reporting to the Group General Manager you will be tasked with leading multiple stores throughout the UAE • Recruitment, training and leadership of new store managers • Setting the annual budgets and store targets, KPI’s • Work with marketing to ensure strong promotional activities and marketing campaigns • Managing performance of the stores, sales against budgets, wages, expenses • Oversee the merchandising & store design layout • Regular head office reporting on performance, issues and solutions • Regular store visits and coaching of the teams • Driving exceptional customer service experience through your teams |
RequirementsRequirementsSkills Required: • Minimum of 4 years Senior Retail Operations experience in retail fashion (men’s or ladies) and well recognised brands • Ideally you will have worked for large structured retail companies, European, Australian or US brands • Must have proven experience of managing multiple store locations ie. Area Manager or Operations Manager • Strong understanding of Middle East retailing • Excellent work ethic, strong leadership qualities and a focused team player are critical attributes • Strong people management, fiscal & budget preparation, good computer skills in Excel, Word are prerequisites • Ability to work in a multi cultural team and appreciation of other cultures & values |
