Employment: Full Time

The immediate opportunity has arisen to join one of the UAE's leading Boutique Fitness Houses.

As the Operations Manager/Head of Operations you will be responsible for overseeing the entire General Operations of this Boutique fitness business and its multiple locations across the UAE.

Operational Duties include:
- Overseeing the overall Operations platform of the business.
- Managing the Facilities and ensuring a professional appearance of the brand at each location, whilst also working and adhering to the guidelines of the respective building management at each location.
- Managing, resolving and reporting business matters to the Board of the Directors.
- Providing all round business support to the Board of Directors.
- Building, maintaining and managing relationships between the business, suppliers and customers.
- Working with the existing Management to oversee the business operations of each of their divisions, whilst identifying and supporting the growth of the fitness team across multiple locations.
- Working with the team, responsible for support and driving the brand to build on their existing brand and customer network across the region; whilst also working with the Board of Directors to identify, project manage and deliver new branch locations as they arise. This will involve identifying and evaluating possible locations, sourcing the required fit out consultants and project managing the entire project from start to completion, to be delivered on time.
- Provide support to the Board of Directors by managing any franchise opportunities which may arise across the MENA region.
- Interact regularly with the head office to gain knowledge of new and best practices, policies and procedures, the latest brand guidelines to rollout and implement across the UAE.
- Implement and streamline existing policies and procedures across the operations business platform.
- Provide mentorship and support to the team.
- Oversee the IT Management and work with the IT team and external consultants to ensure IT stability.

Human Resources:
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall Staff Management, whilst working with the other Business Managers:

This will involve: Employment Contracts, Visa processing (new, renewals and cancellations), Sickness and Holiday Management, Appraisal and Performance Management, UAE Labor Law.

Finance/Account Management
Overseeing and ensuring the payment and dues of the business are managed: this includes Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Customer and Membership control,including renewal, cancellation and reconciliation. As the overall Operations Manager you will also be responsible for the reconciliation and processing of Payroll (WPS) through the central bank. Experience of managing cash flow would be advantageous.

Overseeing the team which controls the management of Inventory ensuring stock control and stock levels are managed including branded stock delivered in-time.

Marketing
Working with the Marketing Executives to ensure maximum publicity is achieved through the various social media sites, and that any published content is within the brand guidelines. As the Operations Manager you must have the ability to write creatively and professionally, including the writing of newsletters to customers.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years experience working as an Operations Manager at Senior level.

The candidate is not required to have a fitness background, however an interest and experience in the industry would be advantageous.

The candidate must be able to manage their time and support the business and team at all times, this will occasionally fall outside of normal operating hours. The role is to be spread of a 6 day working week with weekdays operating from 6am to 9pm and weekends 9am through to 6pm. The ability to time-manage is critical in this role.

The right candidate must be mature, confident and confidential, someone who thrives on being busy and seeing results for their hardwork, able to multi-task and over time learn to know the ins and outs of the business operations at each location on a daily basis, and most importantly someone who can be part of this exciting and growing team.

A degree in Business Administration, Business Management would be advantageous.

A UAE driving license and own transport is essential for this role.
