Employment: Full Time

As the Operations Manager, you are responsible for managing the inventory, in-stock position, pricing integrity, merchandising, labour and other operational processes to company standards. You must follow the company sales and production planning standards, and ensure that the standard standards of performance as outlined in the work plan are achieved.

Your role will include key responsibilities such as:
- Plan, order, and process floral items according to work plan and standards to maximize sales and gross profit.
- Evaluate, design, execute, and measure business processes
- Determine how new information technologies can be utilized in order to make business processes more efficient
- Identify floral division issues via detailed process flows, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity; and define the scope of activities required to address those issues
- Create and monitor accuracy of purchase orders, recipes, and inventory processes
- Support monthly closing processes
- Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels
- Ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

- You should ideally be a University graduate, preferable in a design/agriculture related major, with at least 3 years experience in a similar role within a floral department operations.
- Good command of English along with good interpersonal ability is essential.
