Operations Manager
Dubai based, Full-time Ongoing role
Part of Navitas global Source Country Office (SCO) network, Navitas Dubai was established in 2012. Dubai, along with Nairobi Office, forms the Navitas MENESA (Middle East; North, East & Southern Africa) Source Country Offices. These offices are responsible for the management of partner and stakeholder relationships; regional sales and marketing activities; and student recruitment to Navitas University Programs globally.
This role forms an integral part and is a senior administrative member of the Navitas (MENESA) Group Marketing team and will be based within Dubai, UAE. The position reports directly to the Regional Sales Director MENESA and will work closely across Navitas divisions within MENESA as well as Navitas Group Marketing. The overall objective of the position is to take a leadership role in operations management within MENESA. Strong analytical, systems and communication skills are required for this role, as is experience in managing budgets, human resources management and administrative functions.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong written and oral capability in the English language
- Possession of a tertiary degree level qualification and/or 5+ years of Operations/Human Resource /Administration experience at managerial level
- High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills inclusive of presentation skills
- Proven ability as a team player and leader
- Demonstrated flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally
- Proven ability to initiate and implement administrative processes which provide effective support for the business
- Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits inclusive of an eye for detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure competing demands are met
- Experience in implementing systems with demonstrable impact of corporate, operational and HR efficiencies
- Legal right of work and abode in the United Arab Emirates
Desirable
- International work experience in the education / language sector
- International study experience
- Fluency in a second language
- Experience working in a Middle Eastern or Emirati corporate environment with demonstrable engagement with government and private institutions
