Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a rapidly expanding casual dining Restaurant Group and they are currently looking for UAE experienced Restaurant Operations Manager who will assist the Head of Operations in the smooth running of the group of restaurants and be responsible for growth and development of client hospitality business whilst delivering excellent guest service.

Key Accountabilities:
- Work, and develop relationships, with external suppliers to ensure the very best reputation within the industry, and receives the service required to ensure that the operational Restaurants team can deliver the highest quality product, and the highest financial return
- Work closely with the restaurants Manager to ensure correct stock levels are available from central distribution area, to assist the operational Restaurants team
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety legislation and requirements
- Extensive training culture within the Restaurants team to ensure succession planning, and a culture that exceeds the very best the industry has to offer
- Maintaining the relationships with external contractors to ensure that suppliers deliver to stated agreements, best practices are followed and technological advances are sought
- The Regional Operations Manager will also manage all internal stakeholders: both, other departments within the restaurants who deliver services to the Restaurants team; and support the Supportive Departments
- They will also participate in the food development panel that sits to drive the food offer across the region

Requirements

- A strong background in Multi-Unit Restaurant Operations / Business Management industry.
- Proficiency in food costing, labor costing and P& L analysis.
- Restaurant management training experience.
- New unit opening experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to set goals and promote personal improvement and operational development.
- Positive and friendly attitude , self driven and well organized- experienced in new store opening and on-going training and operations.
- Outgoing, energetic individual who is performance driven and able to work independently delivering non-stop results.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent critical thinking/problem-solving abilities.
- An individual who is detailed / action oriented and demonstrates high standards of integrity, trust, and ethics.
- An Arab speaking candidate will have a strong preference for this position
- At least 5 years experience in similar position, ideally from international brand
- Experience from running group of restaurants
- Excellent operational skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Very good understanding of P&L, forecasts and projecting
