Employment: Full Time

A fast-growing manufacturer of technology products and building materials is currently looking to recruit for Operations Manager to be responsible for the development and execution of the customer services (including order management) and supply chain management processes in support of a regional transaction P&L which will be rolled out across the sub-component business units in KSA, Qatar and the UAE. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager (RGM), this job is based in Dubai.

The main job responsibilities relate to the following activities:
- Process development for customer support and end to end logistics activities in the environment of a product supply only business, i.e. non-manufacturing landscape
- Transfer of knowledge, development of expertise for Customer services organization for Middle East.
- Cross functional communication and execution process with IT to ensure that the ERP infrastructure is in place to enable F&S ME to become fully transactional under the BIS ME&T organization
- Cross functional communication and execution process with Finance to ensure that the financial accounting and management reporting P&L, Balance sheet & Cash flow infrastructure, is in place to enable F&S ME to become fully transactional
- Market feedback analysis (MFA) to monitor the performance of the operations function from a customer perspective
- Develop and lead the communication processes relating to orders planning and fulfilment to ensure KPIs are met
- Champion the standardization of the customer services function across the regions component P&Ls
- Support the build out of the customer services team across the ME& T region.

Requirements

- Preferably a Bachelors degree or higher, in business engineering or comparable
- Has cross-functional knowledge and experience (at least in sales, finance customer service and supply chain areas)
- has a minimum of 5 year experience in a multinational business environment and is used to working in a matrix organization
- Has proven Project Management skills in large, cross-functional projects
- Has extensive skills in and experience with Business Objects, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint ; knowledge of Oracle or SAP ERP systems would be advantageous
- Has excellent communication skills, is fluent in English, can be persuasive and is a team-player
- Willing to travel for up to 20% of the time
