FM Operations Manager – Facilities Management – Doha, Qatar

Our client is part of a well known global organisation who specialise in construction, engineering and facilities management. They require an Operations Manager for their new Qatar based FM division.
Based in Doha, Qatar the individual will be responsible for pioneering the set up and mobilisation of a new FM service provider division for the country. They will have overall responsibility for business development, bids and tendering, contract mobilisation, contract management and the general operational day to day activities. Candidates should have both operational and strategic capabilities and be commercially astute. They will have full back of the support services (HR etc) from an already established office in Doha. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and career minded individual to help establish a globally recognised name into a country that has huge growth potential.

In return our client will pay an excellent base salary with additional benefits package including a performance related bonus scheme.

Requirements

Facilities Management experience ideally with a contractor or service provider
Be commercially astute (P&L, Budgetary responsibilities etc…)
Experience in a senior management role
Have managed large teams of people
Have good written and spoken English
Excellent customer focus and communication skills
The ability to present to high level management
