Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are representing a leading international Agricultural company with large citrus and tropical fruit operations in Ethiopia.

They are a rapidly growing company with 1500 ha of citrus and tropical fruit planted; they also have processing and packaging plant on site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operational manager, the will report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to have overall responsibility for the plantations operations including operational, financial and staff management.

Including
Build and lead a team of agronomist, area managers, and other employees
Increase production and output.
Budget control of plantation.

Requirements

Must have 15 years of relevant work experience.
Must have regional experience in Africa.
Experience in tropical fruit or citrus growing.
Must have experience managing multi-cultural teams.
Knowledge of the Fair-trade standard preferred.
Excellent English.
