Our client is a multinational healthcare and pharmaceuticals company that is currently seeking an Operations Manager.

Your primary responsibility is to partner the Country Manager-KSA & Hub Operations Manager-ME in enhancing the operations into a value added service for the company.

Responsibilities:
• Accountability for the overall day to day responsibilities of TRANSPORT, DISTRIBUTION, WAREHOUSING and INVENTORY MANAGEMENT of consumer products located across KSA warehouses.
• Proactively manage inventory levels.
• Coordinate & prepare monthly reports relating to operational performance of products entering and departing the warehouse facilities.
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing Departments on value added services.
• Lead and manage operational projects (six sigma/lean) relating to effective dispatchment of shipments.
• Oversee and manage agreed SLAs between the company and its partners.
• Manage and run periodical 360 degrees performance surveys with internal/external suppliers and customers and work towards the improvements of processes and SLAs.
• Constantly manage and oversee warehouses and related 3rd Party transport services on a daily basis.
• Manage, control and reduce all demurrage & detention costs between the port and warehouse facilities.
• Manage transportation spend.
• Manage accurate data of shipment tracking reports in coordination with the transport control tower.
• Assess systems requirements and manage operational process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Manage scheduling requirements with freight forwarders
• Manage the effective customs clearance of products at the Jeddah seaport.

• Bachelor's Degree & Logistics experience particularly in Transportation and Documentation
• Minimum of 5 years in similar position
• FMCG experienced preferred
• Good understanding of Basic Supply Chain Principles
• Transport/3PL Background
• Cost Centre Management
• Excellent Computer (MS Excel) Skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to communicate at an International Level
