Operations Manager

Job description / Role

You will primarily manage, control and implement improvements in the day to day operations of plant units.You will oversee the preparation and management of both capital and expense budgets of the plant. You are required to review and recommend the policy for fire and safety throughout the company.

You will ensure alignment of activities with other interdependent areas and departments of the company through the whole of the projects lifecycle from evaluation (pre-feasibility, feasibility), development (FEED) through to execution (EPIC) and handover to operations. Evaluation of design concepts with regard to functionality, performance, reliability, availability, operability and cost is required. Also, you will evaluate project execution plans, contracting strategies,contractor / vendor competencies and monitor the projects during detail design, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Requirements

You will possess a Bachelors of Science degree in any Engineering discipline from a reputable institution with minimum 20 years post qualification with relevant experience in Oil refining and specifically with minimum 5 years experience in a senior management position.

With above said, our client is looking for a highly motivated individual with problem-solving abilities with a Strong analytical and presentation skills. Working experience in multinational-multicultural environments is a must.
