Job description / Role
Our major international client requires an Operations Manager for their Aberdeen office.
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for delivery of budgeted production volumes by undertaking day to day production/operations support to offshore operations, acting as focal point for coordination of response to operational problems.
Responsibilities:
- To act as focal point with client`s, Reservoir, Integrity, HSE, Wells and Subsea Teams.
- Develop, plan and coordinate response to all production/operations issues onboard FPSO in liaison with Senior Process Engineer.
- Deliver production loss reporting, production up time, and efficiency of plant.
- To assist Senior Process Engineer in providing short term production/process solutions, undertake operational investigations and recommend process improvements.
- Investigate and recommend process solutions to Senior Process Engineer on longer term issues providing preliminary scoping and design for upgrades.
- Communicate potential business threats to management.
- Provide production/operations support services to Operations Manager in cooperation with Senior Process Engineer.
- Provide production/operations support to FPSO and review and assist in processing FPSO modifications.
- Provide cost effective methods of operations projects installation, while minimising any loss of production revenue.
- Identify, investigate, audit and control technical change.
- Ensure that operations/production related issues are closed out in a timely fashion.
- Assist in reviewing operational procedures, systems and processes.

Requirements
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria;
- Degree qualified
- Significant Subsea Operations experience is a must
- Experience of managing large teams
- Offshore experience
