Monjasa DMCC (Dubai) seeks an Operations/Office Assistant to join our Operations team.

You will be responsible for assisting the team with everyday administrative tasks.
The position is full time and is expected occupied as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Your daily tasks will be varied, but you will be a part of a Department, where you are offered the responsibility of assisting and establishing excellent relations to colleagues, suppliers and authorities.


AREAS OF FOCUS
Monitoring, organising and keeping databases and documentation up to date
Keeping company contacts database up to date
Coordination of deliveries / collections
Calendar management
Post operation reporting
Communication and follow-up with local authorities
Preparing weekly & monthly reports
Taking minutes of meeting

Requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE - PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Minimum 2-3 years of Shipping experience is a must
English on a professional level
Good MS Office skills

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE - PERSONAL SKILLS
Structured, organized, results oriented, proactive, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment
Good at handling stressful periods
Excellent organisational skills, including ability to multitask, organize, prioritize and follow through on commitments
A positive person with social skills and a good overview, based on solid and relevant experience
