Operations Officer

Job description / Role

- Managing the daily administration for loan documentation in compliance with the internal standards, regulatory requirements and approval terms. Responsible for collateral valuation and collateral reconciliation with original documents.
- Ensure regulatory compliance & Anti Money Laundering checks related to all loans and Credit Card facilities.
- Act as the company's contact person with UAE Central Bank (UAECB)
- MIS reporting to UAECB.
- Investigate suspicious transactions and file Suspicious Transaction Reports as required by Regulators.
- Conduct periodical review of loan security documents. Ensure validity, completeness and accuracy of documentation & Checklist before drawdown.
- On a continuous basis, comply with the policies, process flows, key risk controls, of the transactions processed.
- Prepare / generate various exception / MIS reports relating to transactions processed and ensure that such reports are delivered to the intended recipients on or before the dates due. Ensure all customer collateral documents are kept in safe custody

Requirements

• Graduate
• At least 2 years UAE banking experience
• Experience of Credit Administration activities in Banks.
• Self motivated and creative individual should suggest process improvement ideas with focus on better risk controls and customer service.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Good problem solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Banking Laws and Practices.
• Experience of drafting Operations Procedures.
• Strong customer focus
• High level Computer literacy
