Job description / Role
Al Futtaim Logisticsis the leading regional provider of world class Supply Chain Solutions rated among the top 5 Logistics companies in Middle East spread over 2 million sq. feet of existing warehousing and over 15 million sq. feet of existing open storage (auto/industrial) across the UAE. * Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance
* Warehousing and Contract Logistics
* Goods Transportation and Distribution
* People Transportation.
We are currently looking to recruit an experience Operations Supervisor for our Logistics division:
The main responsibilities are as follows:
- To proactively manage and assume accountability for the key operational elements of the Transport department, including all distribution activities.
- To exceed Customer Service level expectations whilst maximising efficiencies at a minimum cost.
- Manage & measure operations by providing a highly disciplined, enabling and team-building environment.
- To pursue Operational Excellence by means of minimising theoutsourcing of labour and equipment hire, maintaining and updating SOPs and driving improvement projects and initiatives.
- To improvecustomer satisfaction and relationship management in terms of a monthly review of implemented SLAs and achieving the pre agreed customer KPIs along side a monthly review of the Customer Feedback Survey.
- The proactive management of Human Resource by defining and developing the needs of the staff, and aligning of competencies to certain roles. Aligning of training plans with skills performance requirements and personal development. Team Building and the management of staff turnover.
Requirements
The succesful candidate for this have the following skills and experience:
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years in an operational role preferably within a distribution environment.
Job-Specific Skills: PC skills, excellent verbal and written communication.
Behavioural Competencies : Teamwork, Managerial, Communication, Decision maker
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Graduate
