Operations Supervisor (Moving) - Dubai, UAE

POSITION PURPOSE
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective day to day operations of the Moving coordination team in the UAE.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS TASKS
- Manage the procurement of the Household Goods process for the Moving department.
- Manage in-house and outsource customs brokers.
- Manage all UAE based Move Managers / Move Coordinators for Household Goods import and exports.
- Ensure all job files, customer communication and information is handled properly.
- Ensure smooth flow of information, expectations, and job requirements from sales, survey, quoting departments to in-house and outsourced crew leaders, warehouse managers and other vendors.
- Monitor and train staff to enter all costs into Move One systems produce invoices within expected time frames.
- Ensure that all customers and Move One staff abide by set terms and conditions.
- Manage the Moving team and hit targets on insurance and extra add on services.
- Be responsible for training all Move One Move Coordinators / Move Managers.
- Make suggestions on process and quality improvements to regional and product managers.
- Ensure there is a seamless communication flow with customers and that expectations are set and met.
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.

Requirements

- University degree is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years Moving Coordination Experience is preferred.
- Strong English skills (written and verbal) are essential.
- PC applications: Word, Excel, Open office, Windows, Linux.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
- Ability to gain respect and build good relationships with customers, partners and colleagues.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Effectively works well under pressure.
