Operations and Maintenance Manager

Job description / Role

- Design Implement the Operations and Maintenance’s strategy and roadmap to support in setting AW&PT’s corporate strategy envisioned by CEO and board of directors

- Be a key team player in the establishment of the Operations and Maintenance’s plans and provide input to AW&PT’s goals that support its overall strategic plans

- Collaborate with department heads to identify Operations and Maintenance required projects to meet future business demands

- Explore new business opportunities to diversify and integrate with AW&PT’s contracting business that will result in generating more revenue and increasing market share

Operations and Maintenance Management

- Direct and oversee all Operations and Maintenance projects across the kingdom and ensure excellent execution with the objective of retaining customers, enhancing profitability and increasing market share

- Improve the efficiency of manpower, materials reliability and availability to increase productivity in delivering Operations and Maintenance services to customers

- Identify and develop quality control mechanisms related to Operations and Maintenance to Integrated Network & Technology Unit teams and provide recommendations to resolve quality problems

- Ensure that projects managers are properly managing the operating expenditures in a responsible manner and in accordance with budget expectations and cost control mechanisms established in the company

- Ensure that all AW&PT’s Operations and Maintenance assets are maintained in a good condition for long term provision of services

- Design a sampling and analysis program for all substations quality monitoring to comply with Regulatory Standards for water supply.

- Keep abreast of new technologies, systems and developments related to substations operations and maintenance

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

- 12 to 15 years of experience in Operations and Maintenance on universities or schools, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial position

- Previous Customer and Supplier Relationship Management experience is required

- Substation and power experience essentialist

Education and Certifications:

- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
