The Role


The Role


Our client, a prestigious international bank, requires an Oracle Applications (FMS & HRMS) Technical Specialist. Based in Bahrain, you will be:

1. Responsible for day-to-day technical support and development of Oracle FMS and HRMS modules to the business community.

2. Technically focused with an ability to identify, isolate and recommend solutions for technical issues and support of FMS and HRMS payroll techno functional issues.

3. Capable of driving modifications to reports or other areas as may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently support the operation of multiple business development, especially Finance and HR in the MENA region.

2. Provide business system analysis and technology support on the Oracle Financial Management System (FMS), HRMS, and other systems.

3. Manage, supervise and carry out maintenance work to ensure that all financial, administrative, HR, and BI systems in the supported departments are available.

4. Lead technical projects related to FMS, administrative and HR environments.

5. Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the bank's Business Intelligence Strategy.

6. Contribute to the development of any technology projects within the bank's network as required.

7. The candidate will have to develop additional HR policies using fast formulas and PL/SQL and develop “alerts” and “validations” .

Essential Knowledge:

- Experienced in supporting Oracle Application 11i modules, i.e. HRMS Payroll, GL, AP, FA, iExpenses & PO.

- Reports’ customisation within Oracle Financials, and HRMS.

- Minimum 2 years development experience with financial management systems including general ledger, budgeting, accounts payable, bank reconciliation and fixed assets.

- Knowledge of Oracle AIM development methodology

Technology Knowledge:

- Oracle Developer 2000
- Oracle, Forms, Reports Builder, Discoverer, and Workflow. Releases required 6i, 9i, and 10g
- PL/SQL Programming
- SQL and Unix-Shell scripting
- Oracle HRMS and Oracle Payroll
- Oracle Fast Formula development
- Experience in SSHR (self service HR) implementation
- Experience in Oracle Learning Management OLM, Oracle Time and Labour, and Daily Business Intelligence for HR
