Job description / Role
My client a leading bank in the UAE is looking to hire an experienced Oracle DBA. The DBA will be responsible for providing enterprise-wide Oracle Database support for complex system and interconnected technologies that require day-today support and administration in order to maintain optimum performance and utilization.
You will be providing support in the following areas: Oracle RAC Databases, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Applications.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years’ experience as a DBA and have excellent knowledge on Oracle RAC Databases, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12C, Securing Oracle Databases, preferably at Tier 3 standards.
Being well experienced in 24/7 critical production support as well as having experience in managing services based on ITIL or similar framework is required.
You will be educated to degree level ideally from a recognized university in computer science or relevant subject in technology. Preferably holding an Engineering degree.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential.
