Oracle Database Manager - Dubai - Banking
The Database Manager is responsible for the delivery of all database services to the Banks critical applications. Ensuring that the business defined service levels is maintained and security and integrity of data are preserved.
She/he is also responsible for enhancing and growing infrastructure and shared services capabilities and offerings, and achieving targeted metrics relating to cost, productivity, growth, retention, service levels and service quality.
This position will be required to provide 24 x 7 support, predominantly onsite support on frequent basis
Requirements
- Oracle, MS SQL & Sybase Databases. Oracle Ebusiness; Suite applications
- Must have good hands-on experience at supporting and implementing Database environments
- 10 years of Oracle Database Administration experience, 5 Years of which in manager / team lead position
- 5 years in banking sector
- OCP (Oracle Certified Professional 10g & 11g) and PMP certified ideally
