Job Description for Oracle Functional Consultant:
- Implementation & Support of Oracle Applications, which includes Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Projects & Contracts and EAM.
- Handling Support issues on Oracle Applications, including raising Service Requests on Oracle metalink, following up with DBA, vendors, end users and executing recommended action plans.
- Setting up and maintenance of Oracle Functional setups on Development, UAT and Production environments.
- Testing software and reviewing documents delivered by client’s IT vendors.
- Coordinate with business users, IT vendors and Application & Infrastructure team members for resolution of issues.
Requirements
**Candidate with UAE experience shall be preferred.
Profile of an ideal candidate would be as follows:
- Oracle Applications Functional Consultant with 4-7 years hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Applications R12
- Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12. Expertise on functional configuration of at least 2 of the following domains: Oracle Financials, PO, Projects & Contracts, HRMS. Experience of Oracle EAM and CRM would be a plus.
- Experience of data migration and interfacing Oracle E-Business Suite with 3rd party applications is desirable.
- Experienced in maintaining documentation according to Oracle AIM standards (BR100, BP080, MD050, TE040)
- Working knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL: should be able to execute database queries using database tools such as Toad or PL SQL Developer.
- Experience of working in the real estate industry would be considered an advantage.
