The RoleThe RolePROFILE An award winning Banking operation based in Abu Dhabi is currently recruiting for a talented Production Database Administrator who has skills with either Oracle or SQL Server. Ideally a mixture of the above would be beneficial, however this is not essential as full training will be provided. JOB DESCRIPTION My client currently have a team of 5 strong Oracle DBA’s and SQL Server DBA’s. Due to continues growth and expansion they are looking to expand their team with a talented DBA. As the Production DBA you will plan and undertake database maintenance and support activities as agreed with the customer or internal organisations and provide technical assistance to projects and assist with the design, testing and implementation of disaster recovery routines and procedures, then produce documentation in line with the businesses policy and procedures. |
RequirementsRequirementsREQUIREMENT 1. Must posses at least 3-4 years strong Production DBA skills using either Oracle (9i/ 10g) or SQL Server, having previously worked within a Banking or financial organisation, and have worked within a 24*7 environment. 2. Experience with writing SQL scripts would also be a bonus. English speakers required. PACKAGE Salary on offer is dependant on experience, range 20,000-25,000AED (inclusive of housing allowance, travel allowance) plus 30 days holiday, Medical cover, Bonus, Return flights and more. |
