Oracle Specialist - Finance/Treasury (Fixed Term Contract)

The Company:
My client, based in Abu Dhabi, has an urgent requirement for an Oracle Specialist with significant finance/treasury exposure, to join on a temporary basis - most likely 4-6 months.

Ideally the candidate will already be based in UAE with appropriate sponsorship. The candidate must also be able to commence the contract on 15th October.

The Role:
a) Cash Forecasting with inputs from AP, AR, Cash Management, GL, Payroll and Treasury Sources in Oracle E-business suite R12
b) Cash Positioning to provide up-to-date position of bank accounts/Pool of accounts
c) Automatic Bank Reconciliation
d) Set up instruments related to Investments, Debts, Loans and integrate the inflows and outflows from these instruments in the Cash Forecasts and Cash Positions
e) Manage the lifecycle of the treasury functions.
f) In-house banking with Subsidiaries

Requirements

a) Targeted experience of around 7 10 years of working in the corporate finance, banking or financial industry and who understands in great depth cash management, cash forecasting as well as investment instruments.
b) Functionally very strong in the domains of Cash management as outlined in my earlier email using Oracle Treasury.
c) In-depth knowledge of corporate treasury functions and their role in managing the cash flow management functions of an organization through a variety of banking or financial instruments.
d) Excellent knowledge of the Oracle Treasury product with at least 2 project implementations of implementing the product in a corporate environment.
e) An excellent spoken and written communicator who has the ability to interact with all levels of management. The resource will be engaged with the Head of Treasury internally and also have interactions with the CFO in regard to this project.
