Oracle System Analyst

Job description / Role

A Multinational Hospitality Organisation are urgently seeking an experienced Oracle System Analyst to provide analysis, design, implementation and configuration of an Oracle e-business suite specifically for GL/AP/AR/FA/PA and Procurement Modules.

Role description:
The Oracle System Analyst will be responsible for providing expertise for key financial systems and processes by gathering requirements from the business and the configuration of the Oracle e-Business suite. The Oracle System Analyst will also be required for;

Analysis, design, testing, training and deployment of Oracle e-business configuration to support the organisation.
Maintaining and managing the e-Business suite systems documentation and processes by effectively leading users through the planned finance processes.
Define support services with regional and global finance teams while at the same time collaborating and working closely with global teams.
Ensure business and operational processes relating to finance systems are fully documented.
Configuration and testing of any user acceptance and regression testing for any applications and customisations.
Engage with stakeholders to provide advice on determining solutions to business requirements or issues.
Undertake functional impact analysis of Oracle patches.
Train finance teams in the use of Oracle e-Business to support their function.
Act as liaison between multiple functions on business processes and requirements.

Requirements

Expert Knowledge in configuration of Oracle R12 financials (GL/AP/AR/FA/PA).
3-5 years experience working in a Oracle Techno-Functional position with R12 experience.
Extensive knowledge of development lifecycle and methods of developing business process specifications.
Ability to communicate and gather requirements from stakeholders in the organisation.
Strong Project and Relationship Management skills.
Minimum Degree qualification.
Experience with UAT process and management.
Ability to interpret and challenge requirements.
Preferably experience working in the Hospitality industry.
