Overhead Line Discipline Lead

Job description / Role

My client is in the Market for a Discipline Leader Overhead Catenary Systems (OHL) Design for a railway high speed project in Jeddah.

Your tasks will be as follows:
- Managing and supervising site supervision activities of overhead catenary systems construction works
- Ensuring all actions are performed according to the guidelines and regulations of the project (drawings, method statements etc.)
- Supervising and leading OCS/HVPS/LVPS team
- Leading, assisting and participation in general meetings on-site in Jeddah, internal discussion sessions, telephone conferences and team meetings
- Ensuring implementation of FAT (Review FAT proposals, prepare & carry out FAT, prepare FAT documentation)
- Providing technical guidance and training staff

Requirements

- University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering with emphasis on power supply
- At least 12 to 15 years experience as railway engineer, minimum 10 years experience in overhead catenary system engineering
- International work experience in high speed rail projects is mandatory
- Excellent English skills
- Adequate IT-Skills
- Willingness to re-locate to Saudi Arabia for at least two years
- An international driving license is compulsory
