P-Tag Specialist - Ikea - Doha Festival City

At IKEA creating a better everyday life for the many isn't only our vision, it's our way of life!PTAG Plus is an IKEA unique IT-system for the production of the price tags that are used all throughout the IKEA store.

The PTAG specialist is responsible to make sure that PTAG Plus system is up to date and operational each day throughout the year, to support IKEA mechanical sales system.

PTAG Plus System
Ensure that the PTAG plus system works in the store each day of the year; educates all managers in the sales function (Showroom, Markethall, Self Serve and Restaurant) on how to handle the system and produce PTAG and other price and product support communication; conducts preventive maintenance on the hardware and software and consistently orders supplies like papers, toners etc to make sure that the store will be able to produce price tags and other product related communication; in charge of keeping the system up to date with IKEA latest recommendation(s)

Price Tags & Price Signs
Ensures the production of required and needed price tags and price signs on all sales areas; Checks and monitors price and product communications standards are in place as per IKEA recommendation (based on How to improve Price Tags and Price Signs Manual)

Price Marking Accessories
Keeps all price marking accessories available throughout the year by keeping track of inventory and ordering required quantity from IMS Web shop

Other Price & Product Support Communication
Ensure availability of level 2 & 3 price and product communication - (buying guides, picking list, argument sign, dot sign, buying instruction)

Staff Training & Development
Conducts/Facilitates training on PTAG plus and price and product communication standards to sales co workers

Commercial Activity
Liaise with store Graphic Designer and Marketing department for price and product communications needed in the implementation of all commercial activities as per IKEA commercial calendar

In-store Customer Feedback
Coordinates with Senior Sales in any price and product communication related improvements and actions plans derived from functional reviews

Requirements

* University graduate
* Able to speak and understand English and Arabic
* Knowledge of retail operations
* Advanced Computer skills (MS Office packages)
* Operating systems (Navision & PTAG Plus/PC Hardware)
