Job description / Role
- Manage / Coordinate PDMS Piping / Structural / Electrical / Instrumentation.
- Handle PDMS modelling for equipment, piping, pipe supports, structures, cable trays and HVAC.
- Create piping specification as per piping material specifications.
- Maintain and manage the systems database.
- Customize the system to make it easier for designers to yield higher productivity.
- Troubleshoot all modules of the system including Isometric and Drafting.
- Create a plot plan backing sheet.
- Set up MDS for support design.
- Generate MTO, clash report, data consistency report and other various reports from the system.
- Navisworks and review files from PDMS model and animation / walkthrough preparation for management presentation.
- Review routing of piping by using Review Software as per P&IDs.
- Prepare, extract and check isometric drawings and inter-discipline drawings.
- Develop various PDMS / CAD applications as per project requirement.
- Provide training on PDMS to new joiners / designers.
- Work with References of necessary standards.
- Conduct site visits, field familiarization, measurements and verification, etc
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Added Value Qualifications: Masters Degree
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years experience in relevant field (At least 2 years in PDMS Administration and 3 years in PDMS Modelling)
