The Role


The Role

Job Purpose
To supervise the fabrication operation and fulfill fabrication requirements

Principal Accountabilities (Key Performance Areas)

(1) Ensure that fabrication documentation is filled and maintained correctly.
(2) Ensure that the work area and the equipment are maintained and safe to use.
(3) Prepare and organize staff duties and respective shifts
(4) Obtaining orders and meet production schedule and targets
(4) Control and organize welding machines to meet customer requirement
(5) Communicate regularly with customer and sit technician to ensure all information is passed on and smooth work flow.
(6) Ensure production schedule dead lines are met and co-ordinate with production manager.

Technical Requirements:
(1) Physical properties applicable to machinery.

Competencies Required: (Top 5)

(1) Aware of all PE fabrication equipment and products
(2) Aware of all PE fabrication documentation
(3) Aware of all welding procedure and technical data
(4) Aware of fittings designing.
(5)Good communications skills
(6) Aware of health and safety requirements

Education:
(1) Mechanical or technical diploma or equivalent
(2) Preferably a Thermoplastics diploma
