The RoleThe RoleGulf Connexions is looking to hire a PHP Application Developer to be on a client site to provide specialized expertise and practical assistance in the use of database management systems to store and manipulate data for information systems. This may include work at any stage of the system life cycle including feasibility, design, development and service delivery. Responsibilities: Program and develop system applications using PHP and .Net Identify the structure and organization of the data to be stored in the database. Monitor all the software and design software solutions based on gathered requirements. Maintain existing applications and ensure modification or upgrades are done as and when required. Collect requirements from different departments, analyze the data collected and identify interdependencies. Design and implement efficient databases for the ICT systems that is accurately mapped to the Enterprise Data Mode. Assist system developers in the design and modification of fields, relationships, and access methods under the DBMS. Assist in managing and controlling physical and logical views to ensure a high level of performance of the database management system (DBMS). Manage the access authorization schemes, to ensure that only appropriate access is allowed, and that the integrity and confidentiality of the data is not compromised. Develop standards covering all aspects of the DBMS (file definition, record layouts, field data structures, naming conventions) to assist in the maintenance of existing applications, and in the development of new applications. |
RequirementsRequirements University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent, though an additional Microsoft Certification will be a distinct advantage. Solid track record in PHP Application development for both ERP and Websites. Knowledge of .Net with sound experience in DBMS. Fluent in English.
