PLC / HMI Software Controls Programmer

Job description / Role

Millar Cameron are representing a global leader in the FMCG industry, who are currently looking for a PLC / HMI software controls programmer in Libya.

The successful PLC / HMI software controls programmer will have the following responsibilities:
- create electrical drawings and bills of material for both submittals and final released manufacturing packages
- programming software for motor control and power distribution products
- managing all software functions from conception through build and testing of each project

Requirements

- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working for companies in the food and drink industry
- Knowledge of PLC / HMI controls
- Be knowledgeable in both Siemens TIA Portal and Allen Bradley RS Logix software platforms for PLC and Allen Bradley FT View for HMI devices
- Understand control functions and associated hardware
- Be able to read and understand one line and three line schematic diagrams
- Be able to read and write ladder logic diagrams
- Fluent English speaker, Arabic is a plus
