Job description / Role
One of my clients, a Hardcore Product/Vendor/OEM Company, world-wide known for their solutions and Products, is looking for a Project Manager – Networking/ IT Infrastructure (06 Months Extendable Contract) with hands on experience in Deployment, Project Planning and Budgeting.
Job Purpose:
1. Manage technical projects or program teams from initiation through implementation, including: planning, analysis, and design development and implementation
2. Manages large/complex customer facing projects or multiple projects or takes a business management role in an account or group of accounts.
3. Creation of a project schedule and plan with financial, resource and material requirements Develops and presents proposals and final agreements Provides leadership to project staff including project engineers, vendors, partners or subcontractors.
4. Will be manage internal projects/programs within, Program Manage ongoing optimization service to deployed customer networks Acts as a mentor to Project.
5. Manages the project from start to completion including the resolution of escalated project issues Accountable for the Project Budget Presents service business value to customers for new or existing business Influences the customer in the assessment, planning and management of related network projects.
Requirements
Candidate should be from Computer Engineering background (BS/BA/B.E/B.Tech or above) with 7-12yeaes for experience and possessed following skills sets:
1. Minimum 4-5 years managing LAN and/or WAN network implementation and support.
2. And 4-5 years in experience in Senior Project Management role preferably professional PM certification, PMI/ PMP/ Prince 2 or equivalent.
3. Basic knowledge of routing, routing protocols, switching, internet and general network architecture.
4. Good leadership skills and experience working with large project teams and strategic account teams.
5. Good understanding of the legal issues with contracts.
6. Advanced negotiation and presentation skills Understands the organization, aims and processes.
