PMO Support Manager - Fantastic Salary + Government Company

My client is an Oman based wastewater services company who are dedicated to converting wastewater in to products that benefit the environment through the replacement and maintenance of the sewerage system in Muscat.

They are looking for a PMO Support Manager to take responsibility for the management of company project life cycle processes. The PMO Support Manager will be responsible for:

*Ensuring that the Project Department's staff are following the Project Management Office Manual and various applicable procedures.
*Ensuring that when integrated together, the individual projects provide a single system which meets the Master Plan requirements and fulfils the overall program objectives.
*Providing support services to the Project Managers in the fields of planning, budgeting and QA/QC.

Key challenges of the PMO Support Manager include:

*Developing and introducing Project Management processes that meet the long term requirements of the Master Plan
*Continually enhancing the life cycle processes to ensure optimum value

The PMO Support Manager will be expected to contribute positively to the development of the Projects department and company's systems and processes. The PMO Support Manager will also be expected to contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive work atmosphere.

Requirements

The PMO Support Manager will need:

*A degree in any engineering discipline
*A minimum of 15 years of experience in project engineering management, engineering design, implementation and commissioning
*At least 5 years of experience in PMO environment or similar
*At least 8 years of experience in the field of wastewater project management and project feasibility & conceptual studies
*To be skilled in Project Management systems integration, project whole life processes, validation & verification techniques, tools and principals involved in production functional specifications and project management process mapping
