We have an opening for Head of PMO with one of the oldest telecom company in Iraq.
Role: Head of PMO
Location: Erbil
Experience: Minimum 7 years proven project management experience, and has gained PMP status or similar.
Main purpose of the role:
To manage the organisation within the framework of PMOs policies and directives, and the objectives as given by CTIO and to achieve and maintain the highest level of project management support to PMO, regardless of whether they are involved in customer (NRO/IT/O&M etc..) or internal projects in PMO.

Requirements

Skills:

Develop, maintain, and benchmark the competence of PMO project managers, Junior project managers, project controllers, project coordinators.
Ensure that other company employees appreciate and understand the basic knowledge areas of project management.
Ensure that projects sponsors receive regular (weekly) updated project reports for each and every project.
To develop standard project reporting document that is acceptable to all Key people (sponsors & stakeholder).
To ensure that financial and logistical handling of the projects follow the set-up defined by PM.
To assign suitable project managers based on the need from the customers.
To mentors project managers, project coordinators, project controller and project planners in the area of project management to fulfil customer (NRO/IT/O&M etc.) expectation.
To ensure continuous improvements that emphasizes standardizations and compliance.

- EXCEPTIONAL Commercial/Contractual knowledge (Term and conditions, finanancial reporting and follow up)

Education and Language Requirements:

Education :
Bachelor's degree.
