The RoleThe RoleTo organize, direct and execute the maintenance, repairs and new installation works within the purview of the designated area to ensure smooth operations of all Engineering related buildings, assets, and projects with most effective, efficient, minimum time and professional manner to the complete satisfaction of all clients. • Organize, coordinate and control the day to day operations of the workshop and jobsite under instruction from the supervisor • Assist Facilities Engineer to execute all the related works • The responsibility for follow up the work orders from commencement to completion including monitoring and reporting on overall progress and completion. • Provide technical details, work instructions to tradesmen to execute the works effectively • Provide the details of resources such as materials, tools, equipments and man power required for the execution of works • Ensure correct estimate of works to be executed as variable job to eliminate any chance of loses • Report to Facilities Engineer, in case of any difficulty to execute the job • Report to Facilities Engineer, after the completion of the job • Conduct site surveys and inspections, estimates and prepare quotations • Ensure the material availability before the commencement of the job • Arrange with store to keep minimum stock of material and provide details to senior civil asst. to order the materials directly in case of any shortage • Report to Facilities Engineer the requirement of purchasing order necessary to execute the works and follow up with the clerks • Inspect the site to ensure the work completion is satisfactory and ensure getting the signature and approval of the client or end user on the work order form • Book the labor hours on daily basis and ensure to be matching with clogged hours • Arrange the crew to attend the Emergency / urgent works as informed by Help Desk • Communicate with the client about the satisfaction of the job, if required • Attend other works as instructed by supervisor of Engineer • Coordinate with other Imdaad departments to attend the complaints and works of multi trades completely and satisfactory • Attend shift working when required • Attend the training programs prescribed by Imdaad • Carry out 24/7 standby duties as per requirements • Evaluate the performance and prepare the appraisal of tradesmen • Keep developing of relationships with all clients and potential new customers • Proper feedback has given to the Supervisor & other management staff • Good working relationship and Proper Coordination with team members • Proper Coordination with the Client |
RequirementsRequirements• Mechanical or Electrical Degree • Minimum 7 years experience in the specialized trade out of which 5 years in construction or building services and with a multi national work force • Hold a valid UAE driving licence • Process good communication skills • Fluent in written and spoken English and knowledge to speak Arabic and Urdu • Have good team building skills, leadership, management abilities and be a good communicator • A good level of computer literacy in the more common applications • Have good knowledge of other trades works • Excellent knowledge in maintenance and construction materials related to the specializes trade |
