In the fast-paced world of agency PR, a great work ethic is a given. At Fifth Ring, we’re looking for something extra special.
The successful candidates will have personality and drive and will integrate effortlessly into teams of all levels. The ability to stay cool, calm and collected under pressure is a must, as is a flair for engaging with clients, media and key suppliers in both formal and informal settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* We create ideas that engage and inspire. You should be adept at recognising clients’ key messaging and translating this into strategic PR activity that will build their familiarity and favourability.
* Your effective organisational skills and in-depth understanding of PR strategy will help deliver impactful public relations plans that have real, measurable effects on clients’ businesses. You will expertly prioritise your own workload, whilst managing the workload of interns on an ad hoc basis.
* Your interpersonal skills will come to the fore in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers and influencers. You should embody the Fifth Ring brand at all times, enabling us to best identify and exploit key opportunities for our clients.

Requirements
Key Skills:
* Prior experience in communications and/or media is essential. A degree in a related field is desirable
* You must be a skilled writer, comfortable writing accurately in various styles. Agency life can have you working on tweets one minute and compiling an industry whitepaper the next, so adaptability is a must
* You must have a curious mind and a firm grasp of, and interest in, the news agenda and current affairs. A keen interest in the energy sector and business-to-business public relations/communications would also be beneficial.
* Arabic is desirable but not essential, experience in broadcast media is desirable but not essential.
