PR Executive (Fashion)

Job description / Role

My client, a world leading luxury fashion brand, are currently recruiting a PR Executive to join their team.

The role involves carrying out and developing the relevant qualitative visibility of the brand for all types of media, including written press, digital media and TV across the Middle Eastern region.

All candidates must be able to perform the following responsibilities:

- To propose a local fashion PR Action Plan
- Prepare the budget according to the International PR Plan as well as following up on all the expenses and revising the budget if necessary.
- To choose the relevant media route for the brand's action and visibility.
- Plan and negotiate the editorial's visibility around the brand's collection
- Create news with the available tools such as interviews, photos, videos, etc
- Monitor the daily press and prepare press reviews.
- Ensure forecast of the press material necessary to the organisation of press conferences and product launches.
- Organise shoots - oversee the bookings of venue hotel, hairdresser, make up artist, prepare mood boards, looks selected and the make up, etc. Also includes following up on shoots abroad too as well as communicating the results locally and the International PR Team
- Develop editorial placements
- Follow up on the supervision of the invited journalists

Reporting to the PR Manager.

Requirements

Candidates MUST acquire the following attributes to qualify for role:

- 3-5 years of experience in PR and dealing with luxury fashion brands
- Fluent Arabic speaker
- Excellent relationship with the local press and partners
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly organised
- Ability to maintain a leading position
