Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a PR Manager to work for a world leading Global advertising agency based in their Qatar office.

Job Summary:
• Provides and/or supervises provision of PR (Public Relations) services to the assigned clients to manage their public relations with the market and consumers.
• Provides advice and support on PR campaigns and overall PR strategy development.
• Supports Direct Superior in the preparation of proposals by providing inputs on scope and effort required.
• Attends key meetings and sales pitches with potential clients and presents company’s competencies and capabilities.
• Provides insights on the overall PR strategy and PR campaigns.
• Develops yearly PR plans and coordinates their alignment with the rest of market communication activities.
• Attends client meetings to brainstorm and gain an understanding on individual requirements towards PR campaigns/ individual PR releases.
• Develops PR campaigns and monthly/ quarterly/ yearly PR plans. Organizes press releases and any other press/ media interactions.
• Develops PR crisis-management plans and approaches. Personally leads/ supervises communication management during the crisis.
• Trains clients/ their representatives on PR and public communication.
• Drafts contents for key PR releases/ articles to ensure they communicate the intended message.
• Supervises outsourced/ free-lanced employees to guide them and review their deliverables.
• Tracks visibility of PR activities executed and evaluates their effectiveness.
• Develops existing clients (educates and proactively monitors their needs) with regards to PR services and advises on additional scope that meets their business needs and provides additional business to the company.

Requirements

Key Skills:

• Good planning skills
• An understanding of creative agency business and value drivers
• Very good knowledge of PR concepts and trends
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Knowledge of standard office applications (Ms Office package).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing or other related area
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in PR field, preferably within reputable PR Agencies.
