PR Manager

Job description / Role

Job Summary:
1. Plan, develop and implement PR programs for the company in target markets
2. Manage a diverse team of PR executives in multiple geographies
3. Partner with and manage PR agencies/ consultants in target markets

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Create and execute branding and public relations plans to support the company's business objectives.
- Distill and simplify complex information for audience-appropriate consumption
- Identify effective ways to position the company for a multi-cultural, multi-lingual target audiences
- Manage the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation
- Manage and oversee a team of PR executives in multiple countries
- Identify PR agencies/consultants to partner with the company and manage them
- Align with the digital media and network communications team to ensure consistency in messaging
- Researching, writing and disrtibuting press releases to targeted media
- Collating and analysing media coverage

Requirements

- Ability to tell the company's story through media relations, executive visibility and other programs
- Excellent communication skills including research, writing, editing and presentation skills
- The ability to form and maintain relationships, especially with editors and journalists
