PR & Social Media Executive

Job description / Role

A luxury retail group based in Dubai is seeking a PR & Social Media Executive. You will be responsible for working closely and assisting the Group Marketing Manager across several international brands and business sectors.

Support the Group Marketing Manager on Social Media strategy to help enhance and protect the brands

• Write accurate and on-brand copy across all social media channels

• Respond to customers across our Social Media channels answering questions and engaging in conversations around the brands

• Liaise with our PR agency on high risk social activity that could result in reputation damage

• Work with retail store teams and offer support and guidance on local Social Media feeds

• Responsible for setting up social media competitions and competition fulfillment.

• Own and distribute reports that demonstrate content performance and trends.

• Monitor best-in-class examples of social media for brands

• Offer the Group Marketing Manager support with dealing with regional press enquires

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years experience

• Experience managing content for social media sites is essential

• Fluent in English & Arabic

• Strong communication skills both written & oral

• Proficient at Microsoft Office, Excel etc

• Highly organized, able to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously

• Bachelor’s degree

• UAE experience is preferred
