Our client a large regional retail chain a urgently seeking a PR and Communications Assistant Manager, they currently have 14 outlets in 6 countries across the Middle East and Eastern Europe, featuring seasonal limited edition home fashion collections that are " Always Different, Always Limited and Never Expensive".
The successful Candidate will be responsible for Assisting in all Public Relations activities to ensure the appropriate images and messages reach the target market. Assisting in the development, implementation and monitoring of an effective strategy to cascade all Internal Communications to intended recipients to provide clear, specific information in a timely manner.
You will need to know, understand and live the companies core values ensuring each are implemented consistently through projection of personality and attitude, communication and actions, being an ambassador for the company and promoting the companies brand promise of 'Always Different' and the companies core purpose of 'Changing the World'.

Main skills required for this role are as below -
Public Relations:

- Ensuring PR activities suggested and/or undertaken fall within the budget for that financial year.

- Assisting in the planning and execution of the annual PR strategy for each country to ensure maximum brand coverage is received from the media.

- Coordinating information between Head Office departments / Stores for the various PR activities.

- Building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with the media through regular entertainment meetings and socialising of the respective journalists to secure their interest and commitment for coverage and maximum exposure of all company events.

- Liaising with the Managing Directors Executive Assistant for all proposed personal interviews with the Managing Director to ensure these are both timely and executed efficiently with all parties correctly briefed for the best possible media outcome.

- Coordinating PR photo shoots, image information requests and product loan requests from the media with the Public Relations & Internal Communications Manager and Country Operations Manager / Store Managers and various Head Office departments as required.

- Maintaining historical databases on all PR activities, events and media coverage.

- Consistently research publications in each market to ensure we receive coverage in the publications best fitting with the brand image and which reach the brands target market.

- Assist in the planning and execution of PR activities and events.

Internal Communications:

- Coordinating between the various Head Office departments to obtain full and correct information in order to assist in the production and distribution of communication materials through the relevant channels to ensure all necessary parties receive instructions or information they require for efficient and timely implementation of events and news.

- Coordinating content for and distributing the stores Weekly Bulletin by the specified deadline.

- Assisting in the production and distribution of the company 'Vision' magazine, 'Supplier Bulletin' and other publications through coordination with the Communications Manager, Graphic Designers and the Production team.

- Assisting in the management of the Companies Intranet content and configuration. Coordinating content requirements with each Head Office Department and coordinating with IT for all technical aspects of the intranet as required.
