Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Liaise with the government authorities with regard to the application of visas for staff.
2. Process all new employment, mission and business visas in a timely manner.
3. Liaise with government authorities and various embassies with regard to the application of work visas for staff travelling to foreign countries on work assignments.
4. Process security passes and related PR jobs with government authorities.
5. Liaise with government authorities on labour and immigration issues.
6. General PR duties as required by the company.
7. Liaise with all departments on PR related issues.
8. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
9. Maintain the filing of documents in accordance with the relevant procedure(s).
10. Actively participate in adherence to and improvement of the company Integrated
Management System on Quality and HSE related issues.
11. Adhere to Company Policies.

Requirements

PRO – Qatar

Qualifications required:
i) HBO Level

Skills / experience required to do the job:
i) At least 5 year’s experience in Qatar in a public relations role.
ii) Computer literate is an added advantage.
iii) Fluent in Arabic and English (written and oral).

v) Planning & organizing: The ability to set priorities and determine actions, time and resources (tools, software, people, and budget as appropriate.) to achieve pre-defined goals. Monitor and manage timely delivery, leading to reliability and client satisfaction. Resources (documents, tools, diary etc.) are well-organized and up to date.
vi) Agility: the proven capability to be flexible, responsive, adaptive, and show initiative in times of change (e.g. priorities, work planning/location, skills/technologies, work processes, relationships), uncertainty and opportunities.
