PSD Engineer

Job description / Role

- Design Review and Approval of the PSD Shop Drawings, and Construction and Fabrication Quality Assurance related documents.
- Ensure the respect of international standards and contract requirements.
- Coordination, Progress and Construction Platform Screen Doors related meetings with the Contractor as necessary and assist to other meetings when required.
- PSD Installation Review
- Interface between Platform Screen Doors equipments and other equipment or infrastructures (station platform construction, rolling Stock, signaling, power supply, etc.).
- Follow-up the Platform Screen Doors schedule of work and report to the planning engineer all deviations from the schedule.
- Review the test procedures and test criteria in accordance with the contract specifications and Detail Design. To participate to the factory acceptance tests (when required by the client), performance tests, system integration test and commissioning tests. To produce a witness report and to review and approve the tests reports issued by the Platform Screen Doors installations contractor.

Requirements

- Engineering Degree (at least Bachelor)
- 10 years of experience
- Reference in automatic rail project.
- 5 years of experience on a similar position
- Experience in PSD Design Review
- Excellent written and spoken english
